Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect

Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description:
Create cloud platform architecture that meets all project and client requirements and
provides for future extensibility
Describe all major conditions and scenarios, and give engineers the right level of detail so
they can build solutions
Enable clients to efficiently implement solutions in cloud environments while meeting all
security and regulatory requirements
Incorporate architecture feedback from the Senior Architects
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery of technical solutions that are aligned with business needs, and to gain buy-in
Maintain senior-level relationships with clients
React quickly to changes in product scope or direction, or to technical issues that arise, and adapt project plans or technologies to meet evolving needs
Keep consumers informed regarding releases and changes to backwards compatibility
Follow through on projects (even after development is complete) to ensure solutions are delivered on-time, on-budget, and on-quality
Lead the efforts of the development team
Provide technical leadership in standups, sprint planning, and demos
Estimate development timelines, break the project into tasks, and assign roles and hours
Set an example by creating clear, concise, and descriptive tickets and stories
Drive project approach and tool selection, and identify priorities, risks, and gaps
Get hands on with code when needed
Ensure the team adopts uniform, enterprise-wide coding standards
Establish code organization and secure design patterns to be used by the team
Actively engage in code reviews to drive coding excellence across the team
Foster an environment where learning is encouraged
Support team members in furthering their knowledge and skills, enabling them to build better products more quickly
Act as a go-to for team members, helping them to solve the toughest technical problems
Lead events that foster team knowledge
Monitor technology trends in relevant verticals and keep up to date on the latest trends and directions
Actively seek out new technologies that make projects easier to develop and more responsive to client feature requests
Create and maintain best practices for cloud architecture and review consistency across client engagements
Leverage a commitment to DevOps culture, cloud-native architecture, security, and continuous delivery (CD) practices to improve client time to market and system reliability
