Job Title: Java Backend Developer Location: Johnston, RI Duration: Long Term At the time of Interview Coding Test is Mandatory Desired Skills/Experience: 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry, developing solutions for consumer banking, portfolio management, trading, compliance or wealth management Understanding of banking system and custodial and consumer banking operations Mastery of multiple programming languages. Node.js and/or Java experience preferred on the backend. Plus, MySQL and Mongo DB for databases.
Responsibilities: Participating in an environment rapidly transforming to the Agile methodology, adhering to best practices and collaborating effectively with your teammates. Collaborating and contributing insights to solution design ideation, ensuring both the success of the product and adherence to enterprise architecture principles. Designing, modifying, developing and implementing software solutions. Building modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals. Infusing quality of service characteristics, such as scalability, manageability and maintainability into distributed service-based framework to create or expand business or technical capabilities. Employing industry best practices to evaluate, correct and prevent vulnerabilities during the software development process.
Position: Java Full Stack developer Duration: Long term contract Location: Rhode Island (Initially REMOTE) Key Skills: Java, Spring boot, Microservices, MySQL, Mongo DB At the time of Interview Coding Test is Mandatory Required:
Experience building interactive web applications using a modern framework such as Angular (Preferred), React, or Vue
Back-end coding experience using JavaScript (Node.js)
Microservices and RESTful API experience
Understanding of Containers & Docker, ability to write Dockerfiles
SQL experience
Relational database Experience (Any of MySQL (preferred), Postgres, Oracle, MS SQL Server)
Document database experience: e.g. MongoDB
Algorithms & Optimization knowledge
Experience working in an Agile environment
Collaborative and open work ethic
5+ years or experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Definitely a Plus:
Coding experience in a modern programming language such as Java, Python, Go, or C
