Role: Jr. DevOps Engineer
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: Long Term Contract Responsibilities:

Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a contributor for developing and performing automated builds, testing, and deployments of AWS applications.
Developing high quality technical documentation, as needed, including user guides, test plans procedures and policies.
Supporting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation countermeasures.
Work with other teams across the globe.

Must Have Skills & Experience:

BS degree or higher in Computer Science, or related field.
Excellent understanding of DevOps practices and Agile/Scrum development.
Excellent understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Strong understanding of cloud-oriented development using AWS.
Strong understanding of AWS platform capabilities and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Ability to document comprehensive technical requirements, security policies, rules, and guidelines.
Must be able to work collaboratively across teams from remote locations.

Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with one of more of the following program languages: Java, Perl, Ruby, Python and JavaScript.
Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one of more of the following database technologies: SQL, Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, NOSQL, etc.
Understanding of Go and Terraform.
Experience and/or familiarity with automated test tools such as Docker, Jenkins, JIRA, Git, Ansible, Puppet, Junit, JMeter, RSpec, and/or Cucumber.
Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure.
Technical understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation techniques.
