RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing nationwide Technology Company in Plano, TX, is seeking a remote Senior UI Automation Test Engineer. This company offers a competitive compensation plan including base salary and annual bonus plan. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. This position is 100% remote. We are a diverse and skillful team encompassing software engineering, product development and management, data engineering for the company. Together we work to create, preserve, and improve well-functioning, well-designed, multi-platform systems and products for both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
The Senior UI Automation Test Engineer will design and implement test plans, procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new products or software updates according to customer requirements and company policies
Develop testing strategy for various aspects, such as usability, database impact, error and bug finding, regression testing, and implementation scenarios
Identify, analyze, and create detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors, and work directly with software developers to find solutions and develop retesting procedures
Engage in ongoing personal study of modern technologies, especially as applicable to quality assurance
Participate as a major stakeholder in release management sign-off for production software
Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of defects and successful mitigation techniques
The Senior UI Automation Test Engineer will create detailed, step-by-step documentation of test procedures for each phase or project as needed to ensure replicability, compliance with standards, and growth of company knowledge base
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of Automated QA Test experience especially UI testing
Excellent time-management skills and commitment to meet deadlines
Experience with web technologies spanning such some of the following HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and related
Experience with relational database technology (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, or similar)
Experience with UI testing tools, such as Selenium or Appium or similar
Experience testing in JavaScript/Typescript is desired
Proficiency with dotnet (.Net) core framework is a plus but not required
Playwright Automation Test experience is a plus but not required
Mobile testing experience is a plus but not required
Experience with Redux is a plus
Well-rounded experience with multiple operating systems, virtualization technologies, and test environments
Experience participating in small, agile teams
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with test personnel, users, developers, and clients to facilitate quick resolution of problems and accurate documentation of successes
