V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Senior DevOps Engineer client in Plano Texas. This is a contract position in automotive industry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Technical Requirements and Certifications »
AWS Certification, such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, etc.
Education and Experience »
At least 3+ years of C OR C programming experience.
5+ years of hands-on technical experience with DevOps tools and practices.
Experience architecting & automating cloud native technologies and provisioning infrastructure.
Experience architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows using tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools as such Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices
Experience implementing and designing cloud-native security concepts, DevSecOps.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
A detail-oriented go-getter and critical thinker mindset with the courage to learn new topics and become the subject matter expert
Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred:
Have a hands-on working knowledge of security technology and terminology
WHAT YOU’LL DO: Job Responsibilities:
Architect the C/C DevOps pipeline.
Architect pipeline structure with incorporating different branches from 3rd party code.
Incorporate security, quality, OSS tools.
Integrate security & quality checks Include hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Design the technical measures to support developers from onboarding thru delivery of code.
Design and automate the engineers development environment.
Virtual machine setup, IDE, IDE tools, etc.
Open-Source Software alignment with stakeholders & 3rd parties.
Work with external stakeholders to proactively address impediments Ensure software releases are delivered in timely fashion with high quality.
Work with stakeholders to understand timeline, input/output, dependencies, etc. Work with design team and development team to orchestrate workload, resource planning, etc.
