The ideal candidate will be able to deliver solutions that can keep up with a rapidly evolving product. Understanding product requirements, engaging with team members and customers to define solutions, and estimate the scope of work required are all critical aspects of this position. Working on developer efficiency tools, building API servers using Flask, developing highly reliable/scalable web services, and integrating with other web services are additional aspects that the chosen candidate will excel at.
Required:
4+ years of experience in web applications
Expertise in Python
Proficiency with Flask/Django
Creating and working with custom python pip packages
Experience with cloud services, such as AWS
Experience designing, building, and maintaining REST-ful APIs
Experience with one or more front-end frameworks such as React
Experience in JavaScript
Experience in automotive software development and release
Experience in building highly available production services, including deployment automation, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and scaling
Good understanding of containers, build systems, and infrastructure automation
Must be a or holder no sponsorship available
Preferred:
5+ years experience as software engineer
1+ year experience as a tech lead or manager
Expertise in Python and web applications
