POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr Talent Sourcing Specialist is responsible for helping formulate and execute the sourcing and attraction strategy for critical, specialized, and professional-level FedEx Office positions as well as creating a pipeline for emerging talent needs. Create and execute sourcing strategies focused on attracting specialized talent and professional level positions. This role proactively supports Sr. Managers, Sr. Recruiters, and business partners by providing appropriate sourcing and attraction consultation, guidance, recommendations, plans, methods, measures, and effectiveness reports. This position proactively conducts research to understand evolving talent market trends and shares this information with various stakeholders. This position is also responsible for identifying and recommending the use of appropriate social sourcing platforms and direct search/networking techniques. The Sr. Talent Sourcing Specialist creates positive candidate relationships on behalf of FedEx Office by generating excitement about the company during initial interactions. This position assists with vendor relationship needs such as participating in campaign strategy discussions and transaction support. Acts as an ongoing mentor and coach for all Sourcing Specialists.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with FedEx Office Sr. Recruiters and business partners to analyze needs to ensure open positions have candidates who satisfy all requirements and guidelines
  • Proactively tracks business trends to anticipate recruitment opportunities
  • Provide expert sourcing consultation, guidance, recommendations, planning and measurement to achieve talent goals
  • Act as a thought leader for large-scale sourcing and planning efforts due to evolving business needs
  • Analyze internal talent data/reports and adjust sourcing strategy as necessary
  • Develop and execute talent strategies to raise awareness and positive sentiment for the FedEx Office employment brand
  • Create and execute sourcing strategies focused on attracting specialized talent and professional-level positions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with passive talent to ensure a full pipeline of prospective candidates, including specific industries and/or demographics
  • Identify, manage, and use sourcing tools and resources that help achieve talent goals
  • Collaborate with Planning and Analytics team when new sourcing resources/tools may be necessary
  • Serve as a sourcing mentor for less experienced team members
  • Help create and execute diversity sourcing and recruiting initiatives
  • Create and execute strategies to improve internal sourcing, referrals, and diverse hiring practices
  • Represent FedEx Office at national, regional and/or local networking and recruiting events
  • Lead the organization of career fairs, hiring events and other talent sourcing projects
  • Provide annual and quarterly budget input and support
  • Maintain timely and accurate information on all candidate interactions using required systems
  • Support affirmative action plans; track all good faith efforts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • All other duties as needed or required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in sourcing, recruiting, human resources or related field
  • Experience in sourcing specialized talent and professional level positions preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with successful execution of direct sourcing methods/tools (i.e., social sourcing platforms, passive candidate networking, direct contact, market research, etc.)
  • Ability to prequalify and present initial opportunity and employment value proposition to identified candidates
  • Understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures, including legal and OFCCP recruiting requirements
  • Applicant tracking system and/or candidate relationship management (CRM) system experience
  • Maintain in-depth and up-to-date business intelligence of relevant competitors, market conditions, hiring trends, etc.
  • Ability to deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience for internal and external candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process
  • Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and advanced internet search
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and prioritizing duties
  • Experience identifying obstacles and create solutions to complex problems
  • For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring
  • For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook
