Rate:Open/Market Rate (W2 ONLY/H1B Transfer)
Our client is pioneering several different development efforts to increase security within vehicle ecosystem. Several of these efforts require hands-on development skills with embedded systems with a working knowledge of Cyber Security.
Daily Tasks:
Work independently with developers, system/network administrators, product owners to ensure secure design, development, and implementation of applications and networks
Perform security design reviews of applications, systems, and networks
Provide remediation guidance and recommendations to developers and administrators
Define security best practices and standards
Develop specification for Connected Car Vehicle Security
Perform hands-on embedded system development of security libraries
Local candidate, as candidate will work onsite 50% fo the time after Sept 2021
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
3+ years hands-on development skills with embedded systems experience and cyber security
Hands-on development background in C, C, C#, and/or Java and working with embedded LINUX systems
Experience creating security specification and design documents.
Working knowledge of core SECURITY best practices and the secure development lifecycle
Perform SECURITY design reviews of applications, systems, and networks
Provide remediation guidance and recommendations to developers and system designers
Very knowledgeable of core SECURITY concepts and how they apply to embedded systems
Ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changes
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong oral and written skills
