Position: IT Account Manager (Customer Success)
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: Full time

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as business owners for assigned accounts, managing day-to-day activities and P&L for those accounts
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all potential and active clients.
  • Develop account penetration strategy, gain account intelligence and develop business with clients
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, including supporting communications regarding key initiatives and metrics.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team to identify the technology footprint of serviced clients and develop an effective service-delivery model.
  • Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates providing professional feedback.
  • Close contract, contract to hire, and permanent position orders while working with recruiters and team.
  • Meet regularly with leadership to review/coordinate sales efforts to ensure continued focus and success in meeting and exceeding individual sales activity and targets.
  • Manage consultant retention, remarketing and renewals by maintaining contact with consultants during assignments/projects at client sites, gather feedback from consultant and client about progress/performance.
  • Manage on-time and on-budget delivery with planned profitability, consistently looking to improve quality and profitability
  • Leverage all resources for sales & delivery to maximize close ratio and client satisfaction.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and the ability to perform complex pricing analysis without constant guidance
  • Be able to have effective business conversations to understand needs and relevant solutions
  • Generate sales growth to develop and farm accounts, establish relationships at multiple levels throughout the client organization, and close viable business opportunities.
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction by providing a positive customer service experience, ensuring high quality, on time delivery, and value articulation
  • Serve as primary client contact post sale, leading regular client-facing communications including adherence to client communication practices, preparing and distributing client status reports, preparing and disseminating contact reports, and other client communications
  • Build a sales pipeline for account growth
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Lead RFPs and proactive bids, including Renewals, Extensions, and large-scale projects

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5-10+ years proven sales and/or account management experience (ideally with a technology services company) and a proven track record to execute and deliver results in previous sales positions.
  • Strong understanding of the latest top trends and offerings in technology, Infra, Digital, eCommerce, Cloud, and Analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Proven analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting expertise
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management and roles within the client organization
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the full sales life cycle, including account penetration, proposal development, and delivery as well as negotiating and closing
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
