Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager - This role will Run CRM strategy and execution of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment. This role is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all programs within the Salesforce user interface including new journeys and evolution of over 100+ campaigns and triggers. It is a mix of hands on technical execution with the eye for the future to develop scalable solutions, and improve the day to day management of campaigns and reporting being executed. 1:1 channels primarily include Email and SMS channels, with Notifications, Advertising and Direct Mail on the roadmap.

Responsibilities



  • Support a strong infrastructure within Salesforce Marketing Cloud for B2C and B2B campaigns to drive lease volume, remarketing, customer and merchant experience and collection volume

  • Take in requirements for campaigns across Marketing, Sales, Product and Legal/Compliance in categories of promotional, triggers, transactional emails and CloudPage landing pages

  • Create audiences (Audience Builder), set up data extensions/shared DEs, automations (Automation Studio), cross channel journeys, deployments and send monitoring

  • Work with Data Science to validate new audiences and gain working knowledge of all data objects and dictionaries

  • Support API work for sends/adding contacts and Send Logs/extracts for reporting

  • Ensure uptime of automated journeys and troubleshoot with urgency when campaigns go down, and assist in root cause analysis

  • Steward and implement metadata

  • Track Super Message, CloudPage and contact usage against contract

  • Test and learn by working with business owners and Einstein - create a collaborative environment for continuous improvements

  • Assist legal and compliance teams with audits and making sure content and processes are compliant

  • Update content on emails to match compliance and marketing requirements as overflow from HTML team by knowing various scripting languages for dynamic/personalized marketing content

  • Development and upkeep of email templates for Service Cloud and Sales Cloud

  • Manage workload across an 'All Email Projects SFMC Tracker' and lead monthly prioritization check-ins across department owners

  • Work collaboratively to execute programs and initiatives

  • Provide assistance on multichannel campaign executions that span Notifications, Advertising Lists and Direct Mail channels as directed

  • Support Email programs of other brands

  • Develop and coach direct report, Marketing Cloud Specialist

  • Support initial set up activities in Business Unit(s) including IP warming, complaint processing, reply mail management and subscription management


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required

  • Fintech or retail store-based marketing experience (preferred)

  • 4+ years of experience building campaigns, journeys and deployments in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Corporate Edition)

  • Salesforce Email Marketing Certification (preferred)

  • Strong SQL, AMPScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills and experience

  • Litmus, Google Analytics, E-datasource (Sparkpost), Validity experience a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Teams experience a plus)

  • Managed direct reports

  • Strong organizational skills to effectively prioritize work and process driven

  • Strong communication and project management skills

  • Strong attention to detail; meets deadlines or elevates obstacles in a timely manner

  • Provide solutions, able to navigate ambiguity

  • Results-oriented, understands KPIs
