Our client in the Financial Services industry is currently seeking a QA Engineer.

The QA Engineer will be responsible for the software testing of web-based applications. They must understand the entire software development process and how it fits into the business approach and goals of the organization.

Duration: Contract to hire (no future sponsorships available)

Hourly Rate: Depends on Experience, W2 Only (Not open to C2C)

Location: Plano, TX

Responsibilities:

• Experience writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and test design documents.
• Experience using data-driven testing to validate results.
• Strong experience with SQL
• Cloud experience.
• Must have strong, agile development exp.
• Experience using test automation tools.
• Any experience or background with Python or JavaScript will be a HUGE plus.
• Must have experience in debugging and troubleshooting problems.
• Must have experience in a technical capacity and quality methodology/process/techniques to provide guidance and leadership.
• Create and maintain QA plans.
• Proactive, solid communications, and ability to work well across teams.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
• Demonstrate behaviors that are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values.
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical skills, and sound judgment.
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management.
