Senior Software Engineer, Edge Engineering - Remote US

What you'll achieve
The Dell Technologies Edge Portfolio team is providing end-to-end solutions for our customers and partners. The advances in IoT are driving more complex and capable edge solutions. Providing fully integrated offerings will be a key part of this role.
As a member of of our edge solutions team, you will be responsible for helping build and documented integrated solutions/stacks. We have multiple openings on this new team. These positions will be focused on the hands-on building and validation of solutions.
You will:
• Work with Architecture and Product Management teams to refine solution definition
• Build out Edge focused solutions and document process and decision points
• Work with Engineering Development teams to build out a robust solution
• Development of submodules as per the spec within an architecture
• Validate solutions for quality and robustness

Essential Requirements
• Requires 4+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years with a Master's degree; or equivalent experience
• 3+ years Python Software Engineering Experience
• Experience with building REST APIs (Flask, Django, or Similar)
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases like Postgres / MongoDB / MySQL
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Proven ability to develop and write solutions white papers, deployment guides and operations run books.

• Web development skills
