Kforce has a client in search of a talented Jr. IT Analyst for a remote position.
Job Function/Details/Responsibilities or Key Roles:
Applies ITSM, Lean, Six Sigma, COBIT and/or other process optimization methods in a cross-functional team environment to implement ITIL process such as SACM/CMDB, Vendor Management, IT reporting and/or other ITIL processes in a best practice state.
Assist with analysis, evaluation, and assessment leading to development of recommendations for service and process improvements or optimization development.
Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired results and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels
Assist in performing assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns
Identify issues and risks
Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
Participate in the problem resolution
Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review
Maintain a complete understanding of and adheres to all IT policies and processes
Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field for an accredited college or university or experience
Previous working experience in IT (minimum 0-1 years)
Ability to work in a fluid environment with ongoing change and partner with colleagues to achieve objectives
Ability to work and make judgments independently and act to solve process related issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated aptitude for business and operational analysis
Proven ability to manage effectively in a high volume, goal-oriented environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
