Title: Salesforce Business Systems Analyst Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsible for helping lead the business analysis processes for the Workday 4 Scale project, and other related Accounts & Territory projects for Salesforce Business Technology. The project goal is to assist in upcoming Workday program changes, by creating new automation standards that interact with our core org, enterprise integration layer, and target orgs.
This role will facilitate discovery sessions to analyze content and gather business requirements. Works with Operations Teams, Product Owners, Development and Solution Architects to define the business rules and translate into solutions. These business rules are currently maintained in spreadsheets. Collaborates on design, configuration and implementation activities aligned to realize the effective business solution. If applicable or appropriate, ensures business unit's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements policies and procedures.
Business Partnership and Leadership Improves positive business relationships with business units and partners. Documents business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, inputs and outputs, requirements, as-is/to be flows Ensures technical staff and business partners' work towards the best design alternatives and solutions to meet agreed requirements, taxonomy, modeling and workflow performance. Analyzes business partner operations to determine opportunities to streamline and automate business processes. Understands changing business conditions and their impact on existing processes and operations. Ensures that the design and integration of proposed systems, software, and hardware solutions lead to the development and growth of business through effective use of technology. Leads project planning sessions with clients, business analysts and team members to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and objectives. Communicates project status, schedules and risk assessment. Negotiates and tracks agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business units and IT. Works with businesses after implementation to ensure successful understanding and use of the new solution.
Systems Analysis Provides systems analysis and design to meet functional and organizational requirements Ensures that systems designs align with Salesforce Business Technology short and long term strategies. Determines feasibility of new projects by assessing support requirements, risk, and financial impact Recommends architectural changes based on new or changing business requirements Evaluates and recommends new products, maintains knowledge of emerging technologies for application to the enterprise. Provides appropriate documentation for key content deliverables (Business requirements, functional Design, test scripts, UAT defects reports, training materials), design decisions, estimate assumptions, and performance metrics
Testing Helps to develop, coordinate, and implement test plans to test business and functional requirements during solution development and participates in system testing individually Reviews test environments and processes and makes recommendations for improvement as appropriate for systems of varying complexity. Directs and executes system and/or acceptance testing, demos and business validation reviews. Works with business units and IT teams to define processes for conducting testing and reviewing results. Performs design and pre-implementation walkthroughs. Ensures development and the validity of a disaster recovery plan for an application
Production Maintenance Directs analysis of problems and ensures corrective actions are initiated up through resolution to affected customers. Leads troubleshooting efforts and inquiries for systems and product related questions. Assures appropriate knowledge transfer to customers and internally, maintains system and user documentation, instructions and procedures, and demonstrates best practices Creates or assists others in writing system and user documentation, instructions and procedures, and demonstrates best practices Acts as a liaison between customers and technical teams to identify, research, and resolve problems with application systems, their associated interfaces, and underlying infrastructure. Escalates with appropriate vendor management for problem resolution. Gathers business requirements and translates them into internet/Web architecture to achieve business objectives Provides software product administration, training and help desk support.
Qualifications You will need these qualifications:
1.Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. Major in information technology, computer science or related major preferred.
2.Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, product management or equivalent work experience. Analyzing business process and use case diagrams to specify in detail the operations to be performed. Working collaboratively to build relationships with product owners, stakeholders, scrum teams, architect and other consultants Working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Developing KPI's to determine business impact and value of business solutions.
3.Technical Skills: Salesforce Platform System Administration and or experience implementing and customizing on the Salesforce 360 platform. Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud experience Demonstrated proficiency and expertise with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint, Project) or similar software.
