Job Description
TThe KRONOS IT Functional Architect for who can work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. This architect formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex systems changes. Working in close partnership with the user community and other stakeholders you will be accountable for detailed specifications from which programs will be written full range of programming tasks including program design program coding debugging and documentation maintain and update existing programs and systems programming and support activities .
The ideal candidate is a strong configuration and development experience in KRONOS good communication skills and the ability to influence and support end user community. We are looking for a high energy self-motivated results-oriented developer who is comfortable working in a global highly-matrix team-oriented IT environment. This role reports into the IT Manager for HR Applications but dotted line into IT Lead for this area.
Responsibilities Activities include but are not limited to troubleshooting user requests or issues resolving system and data problems performing routine system maintenance maintaining error logs and resolving data and interface errors testing of system changes preparation of design specs and test scripts loading of data and reporting with special focus on system configuration within the Kronos cloud application Configures all elements of the Kronos application to include:

Pay Rules Work Rules Accruals Scheduling WIMs Attendance Access Profiles etc.
Accountable for gathering and analyzing business requirement specifications measurements data mappings policies business procedures etc. as well as transforming them into creative solutions within the system.
Liaises with the Labor Relations team to review and update Kronos configuration to accommodate new union rules and regulations. Generates reports and analytics of the Kronos data for internal and external customers using existing or developing new SQL queries or creating new standard Kronos reports.
Works on enhancements and special projects as needed. Responds to issues with appropriate sense of urgency following up with customers with resolutions in a timely manner. Maintains and tracks all issues/work using Service Now.
Creates detailed functional and technical design documents test plans and test cases user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary.
Works independently as well as in a team environment.
Develop peer cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.

Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of hands on configuration/system administrator experience in Kronos 8.1 version or greater is required handling all system configuration and support the application itself including WIM and with Kronos Cloud platform a product of UKG.

Experience of working in Timecard Attestation Global Time-Off configuration of all elements of the Kronos application to include: Pay Rules Work Rules Accruals Scheduling WIMs Attendance Access Profiles etc. Receive and analyze change requests use windows editors and reports to assess the impact of pay rule changes implement changes to an organization's pay rule configuration Test pay rule changes deploy pay rule changes Troubleshoot common pay rule problems Maintain the set-up of Workforce Activities to track employee and resource tasks and related business policies and procedures Good communication (both verbal and written) collaboration skills culture fit (capable of working in a high-pressured environment)
Must be a team player and understand the urgency of requirements and balance the work/priorities Balance of business process knowledge and experience Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.
Ability to interact with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate attention to end goal. Demonstrates strong customer quality cost and delivery focus.
