Wireless Network engineer
Location: Rosenberg, TX (on-site)
Duration: 6+ Months
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
  • 4+ years of experience focused on Wireless Network Engineering
  • 2+ years working in a education environment preferred
• Extensive experience performing wireless surveys and RF optimization tests
• Strong working knowledge installing, configuring, and supporting Wireless LAN Hardware products and complex network environments
• Wireless knowledge with network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of routers, switches, Controllers, Access points, and cabling in a large enterprise LAN/WAN /WLAN environment
• Extensive experience working with wireless technologies such as Cisco and Meraki
  • Experience with both Cisco and Meraki controllers
• Experience leading and participating in product selection labs
• Experience designing wireless solutions for existing and new environments
• Perform wireless site surveys, conduct site evaluations and generate Heat Maps
• Experience with Route/Switch protocols (EIGRB, BGP, OSPF)
• Experience making technology recommendations to senior leadership
• Experience with Cisco DNA preferred
• Must have excellent communication skills, writing skills, and the ability to work with team members at all levels
• Ability to travel to multiple local locations depending on support needs.
