Location: Austin, TX - Roles does require onsite work in lab as well as working remote. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX from day one.

Description: Provides solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Use tools appropriately with technical guidance and complete tasks and assignments under normal supervision. Understands and adheres to cost/delivery/quality targets established during regression and testing phase. Software development expertise from a coding perspective. This is required for building test automation. Contribute to test automation activities through knowledge of coding/programming in current languages. Follows standard engineering/test practices. Uses judgment within defined practices and procedures. Implements work-plans and schedules as assigned.
Day to Day: Conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that our software meets or exceeds end-user requirements.
Essential Requirements:
Requires 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or
An advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
Experience testing REST api
Linux OS CLI experience
Some experience with server, network and storage hardware in a lab environment
Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software
Applied job experience with Python
General knowledge of at least one mainstream language, (preferred proficiency in C, C, or JAVA)
Ability to read a specification (hardware, software or network) and develop appropriate test methodology
Executes test cases and testing methodology for manual and/or automated tests.
Desirable Requirements:
Experience working in different hypervisor environments such as ESXI and Hyper-V
Prior experience working with Dell Server and Storage hardware
Working knowledge or experience with VMware and virtualization
Experience with Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience working within an Agile software development environment
