The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the culinary department of the senior retirement community with daily responsibilities including menu planning, meal presentation, safety, and maintaining the budget for the department.
Manage team of cooks and servers
Hire, train, and coach associates
Develop appetizing menus for various dietary needs
Lead the culinary team in providing a superior meal service
2-3 years experience in a similar role
Required food safety certifications
Demonstrated skills in relation to preparing meals for a variety of dietary needs
Management experience including oversight of department budget and scheduling
