The Business Intelligence Operations Analyst is responsible for building, maintaining, and operating architecture components that support the "Hemingway" business intelligence applications.
Key activities:
Independently troubleshoots operations and architecture-related issues in Production and Non-production architecture components.
Works with the technical architecture, operations, and development teams to design and implement solutions based upon requirements and designs.
Works with partner datacenters to plan, schedule, execute, and validate infrastructure/architecture work.
Identifies and implements opportunities for improvements to tools and services.
Supports the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) for new software releases
Manage Suite of Business Intelligence Applications.
Desired Skills:
AWS or similar Cloud Platform
Scripting Languages (examples: Bash, Python, PHP, Perl, Ansible, etc)
Linux or Infrastructure Administration
Programming Languages (Java, C, C, C#, Ruby, etc)
Troubleshooting
Comfortable working with external vendors
Ability to interpret what the external vendor is asking you to do.
Experience in building out Tableau.
Capable of Independent Research and Troubleshooting.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
SIEM or log aggregation tools (Splunk, ArcSight, or similar)
Application monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Nagios, or similar)
Networking
Ansible Experience - 6 months - 1 year
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and 0-3 years of experience in information technology, systems administration, or other IT-related field.
