ASM Research is currently searching for a Business Systems Analyst. The Business Systems Analyst develops and analyzes functional and cross-functional requirements and designs documentation. Provides subject matter expertise and support to clients. Monitors products and services throughout the life cycle. Serves as a liaison between clients and the project team, captures supplementary specifications not included in client requirements, and logs and tracks requirements to closure. Validates adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities.
Job Responsibilities
Complete business analysis and system analysis tasks; work with federal customers to capture system requirements for new systems or revisions to current systems, write and maintain system requirement documentation.
Work with federal staff, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure systems meet requirement specifications; test systems and revisions; conduct User Acceptance Tests.
Provide demonstrations, reviews, and training with customized materials to a variety of audiences.
Configure systems and workflows; develop custom fields in systems; edit and maintain JavaScript files.
Participate in system upgrades, testing and deployments.
Maintain the JIRA system, including administering permissions, maintaining user accounts, track license renewals for system add-ons.
Maintain a custom Java-based application system, including administering permissions, maintaining user accounts.
Experience in testing functionality and matching to requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
2-5 years of experience working on projects/programs supporting Government Contracts.
2+ Years' experience administrating and development using JIRA
Clear oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with JIRA, JavaScript, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Apps and Power Automate. Dynamics is a plus.
