JOB DESCRIPTION

"The Delivery Assurance Transformation Lead will assume the overarching responsibility for supporting organizational leadership in their efforts at overseeing and managing the delivery of its ERP and Digital & Data Transformation Program initiatives. The role is both strategic and execution focused with strong ERP, IT infrastructure, and program and people management skills being a must. Due to the strategic nature of the transformation program which includes Agile and Waterfall program management, expertise in both delivery practices is a must. The role will be positioned to help focus leadership efforts around the strategy, roadmap, and integrated sets of dependencies spanning implementation of a new ERP systems platform and the modernization of Digital & Data Products and Services. The Delivery Assurance Transformation Lead is a key leader in ensuring the accountability of program value delivery and is the primary contact to the investment board, steering committee, and Senior Executive engagement team as it relates to communicating and reporting the overall state and health of the program. Primary Responsibilities and Activities:

• Establish a program structure, governance, and engagement model for the Technology Services Portfolio and sets of programs

• Ensure adherence to the appropriate governance functions relating to the program and in accordance with the enterprise guidelines, policies, and practices

• Manges the planning, design and construction of multiple capital and/or O&M projects (e.g., modifications/additions to facilities and infrastructure) under supervision.

• Facilitates teams, including team chartering, group problem solving and/or process improvement work.

• Ensures the integration of sound project management principles and practices into all projects.

• Develops solutions to critical business issues and presents alternatives. Develops and submits business cases and/or project justifications for projects.

• Develop detailed project plans and ensure project scopes, team responsibilities, milestone dates, and the procurement strategy are clearly stated for all assigned projects.

• Stewards project to ensure project objectives regarding safety, schedule, budget, scope, code compliance, environmental compliance, and quality are met through metrics and benchmarking.

• Develops procurement and technical specifications for vendor and contractor services.

• Coordinates with procurement to solicit external materials and services as required for project deliverables, including stewarding purchase orders and contracts, paying invoices, and interfacing with Storeroom personnel.

• Negotiates with vendors and contractors regarding work scope changes and ensure that all contract commitments are completed on time per the scope of work and technical specifications.

• Plans and monitors on-going design and construction activities for contract and industry code compliance, QA/QC program compliance, schedule performance, and quality workmanship for multiple craft disciplines.

• Reviews and approves design documents and drawings for contract and industry code compliance, company standards and practices.

• Coordinates the development of conceptual and detailed designs.

• Effectively communicates issues and recommends strategies and tactics.

• Interfaces with appropriate management levels including senior management to gain necessary approvals and manage risk in accordance with corporate governance.

• Develops, reviews, and monitors testing procedures

• Develops documentation of business processes within applicable divisions.

• Coordinates project teams' activities in conjunction with field operations for quality assurance.

• Performs analysis of project data; generates reports and data.

• Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's or Master preferred in information systems, Business Administration or IT related field or equivalent work experience.

PMP Certification

Required Experience:

• Ten or more years of experience in a personnel leadership role in the IT industry

• Seven to ten years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major IT related projects or programs

• Demonstrated experience in managing "upward" among senior leadership

• Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams

• Substantial consultant leadership experience a plus Knowledge and Skills

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate the portfolio objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment to the business strategy.

• Possesses a high degree of political sensitivity, astuteness and the ability to effectively use the informal power structure of the organization to achieve success and clear obstacles for the portfolio

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and "sell" the portfolio goals and objectives to business as well as technical leadership

• Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units. Familiar with industry trends and innovation.

• Strong analytical, conceptual and financial analysis skills, and familiarity with financial reporting tools.

• High empathetic and able to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of business and technical audiences, as well as temperaments and personalities.

• Effective influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.• Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver against financial and resource constraints.

• Familiarity with the use of reporting tools to monitor portfolio activities and analyze portfolio performance.

• Familiarity with one or more project/program management methodologies (such as PMI, PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, and SMO) and across a range of projects and programs. Key Behaviors/Competencies:

This is a senior level position. The job holder will be expected to demonstrate all of the required competencies at a high level of proficiency.
