Position Summary :The Treasury Director will develop, manage and enforce treasury related policies, procedures and internal controls around cash operations , investment management, foreign exchange exposures, interest rate exposures, discounting business and debt compliance. As part of the above, this role will create and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments across the business such as Procurement, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and Financial Services, Legal, as well as financing partners.Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee lending and commercial banking relationships
Oversee the daily cash position and forecasts (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) as well as the variance analysis of forecast versus actuals
Have a detailed understanding of multiple, complex debt agreements and how they interact with each other, related cash management and forecasting/modeling activities, and how they interact with what is allowable in Sirius’ discounting business
Together with senior management, evaluate/analyze complex debt agreements, covenants and baskets in light of various corporate capital structure scenarios and other corporate strategic activities
Work with Financial Planning & Analysis team on quarterly budget/forecast assumptions and models to align treasury budget/forecast with FP&A for free cash flow and debt modeling; includes balance sheet and cash flow modeling
Create and maintain updated models for corporate capital structure planning activities and debt refinance scenarios
Oversee any bank audits, have a detailed understanding of deliverables provided and the impact on the audit/advance rate
Oversee periodic bank reporting process, including quarterly covenants
Oversee treasury integration activities for acquired companies
Collaborate with tax on legal entity restructuring; ensure alignment with bank group for security
Maximize bank agreement addbacks
Manages a team of Treasury professionals, overseeing their daily work, and mentoring and developing employees to broaden their skills and help them reach their personal career objectives
Drives improvements and best practices
Process driven - identifies, builds, and actions new processes for better efficiencies
Basic Qualifications –
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
At least eight (8) years’ related experience in a Treasury role, to include at least five (5) years management experience
Other Required Qualifications -
Demonstrated ability to contribute in a fast-paced, acquisitive, growth oriented company
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, computer-based accounting, and financial and treasury management systems
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of corporate banking relationships and accounting principles, practices and procedures (GAAP)
Demonstrated ability to understand cash flows of the Company and how they relate to borrowings and repayments under our credit facility
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and work with business leaders and all levels within and outside the organization
Demonstrated ability to accomplish work requiring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to organize, direct, and develop high performing teams and to plan and coordinate timely accomplishments of responsibilities
Demonstrated organization and follow-up skills with the ability to be productive under pressure in a fast-paced team environment and to work in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and results-oriented in an environment of frequently changing demands
Ability to balance the needs of the staff with the necessary business requirements
Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Treasury Professional designation
International business experience
