At Kelly, we provide top talent with What's Next in their careers!We are currently seeking Material Handlers with forklift experience at one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, located in Northeast San Antonio.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, stores, picks, loads and distributes building product materials, such as fasteners, nuts, bolts, screws and nails.
Repeatedly individual and team lift 40-70 lbs.
Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Drive propane, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks or similar equipment to lift, stack, tier, or move products.
Unload wire containers.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Verify quantity and quality of products received and document discrepancies promptly.
Conduct physical inventory counts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
At least 1 year of experience in material handling, pick/pack, and/or warehousing.
Experience with forklift operations, including order pickers, reach trucks or similar equipment.
Must wear steel/composite-toed boots, long sleeves and work pants.
Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Monday - Friday, some Saturdays possible
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$15.00/hour
