RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a talented Scrum IT Project Manager in San Antonio, TX.
Job Summary:
As a Scrum IT Project Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring teams live Agile values and principles and follows processes and practices that the teams agree they will use within Agile (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) frameworks to self organize while delivering value to customers. The Scrum IT Project Manager is a servant leader and champions the Scrum & Agile mindset through effective guidance, coaching, education and through removal of impediments to team progress. This role is responsible for building high-performing teams focused on constantly improving team dynamics and performance.
Responsibilities of the Scrum IT Project Manager include:
Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role
Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities
Provide hands-on facilitation of major Agile ceremonies across multiple development teams; Consults with and advises teams (including the Product Owner) to support a smooth working
transition to Agile practices
REQUIREMENTS:
SAFE SM 5.0 Certification or attained within 90 days of hire
Project Management Certifications are a plus
Tool skills (Jira, Excel, Outlook)
Takes initiative/proactive/communication skills
Software Delivery experience
Financial/Insurance system experience is required
IT Financials SW Dev background like ETL/Oracle/cloud
