RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a talented Senior Program Manager/Scrum Master in San Antonio, TX.
Job Summary:
As a Senior Program Manager/Scrum Master, this role manages all scrum activities to coordinate progress in agile teams, both internal at iHeartMedia and those sourced from resource augmentation partners
Administers the basic scrum cadence (backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand up, demo, retrospective)
The Senior Program Manager/Scrum Master defines with the team(s), agile productivity KPIs and ensures continuous progress
Partnering with the Product Owner, ensures the team understands the objectives/goals and (changing) priorities of scope.
Provide constant guidance to the team(s), fostering the continued growth of the agile mindset
Senior Program Manager/Scrum Master will understand the big-picture view and think beyond the day-to-day tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Computer Science (Business, Finance, Economics, Communications) or a related field or equivalent professional experience
PMI-ACP or equivalent certification preferred
PMI-PMP preferred for program manager
PSM I or PSM II certification preferred
3+ years of experience with Agile. At least one year as a Scrum Master
3+ years of experience in IT involving process improvement, project management or requirements analysis or management
Experience in scaling Agile teams
Experience with Virtual Agile Task boards and PPM toolsets
Experience coaching, encouraging, and mentoring peers to build high performing Agile teams
Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply the principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or work plans to ensure successful completion (e.g., on time, within budget)
Exhibits lean Agile servant leadership
Ability to facilitate meetings with all levels of the organization and guide teams through the 5 levels of Agile Planning
Ability to guide software developers and manage peers through influence, persuasion, and facilitation
Ability to facilitate the team to find solutions and remove impediments for the teams
Ability to orchestrate and manage sprints in Jira, Microsoft Teams and other tools to minimize bureaucracy and accelerate the flow of information in the organization
