We are looking for a Fullstack developer for a contract to hire role with one of our premier clients in the San Antonio area. This individual will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and testing

of designated Java software applications. Work collaboratively and provide technical assistance and detailed program information to product managers, analysts, and support specialists.

Qualifications


5+ years of Java development experience (required)


5+ years of experience with one or more of the following technologies required: HTML, web controls, JavaScript, JSON, XML, AJAX, web services (required)


5+ years of SQL and relational database experience (required)


Sybase SQL Anywhere experience (preferred)


strong knowledge of web application architecture, object-oriented design, and relational database design.


5+ years of experience in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security (required)


5+ Years of work experience working with tools like Git, Maven or Gradle (required)


Knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban preferred.


Ability to understand entire scope of complex computer software systems


Ability to express business and technical concepts, verbally and in writing


Proficiency with standard functions within electronic applications such as MS Office (e.g., word processing, electronic spreadsheets) and e-mail.


Proficiency with computers (PCs and/or MACs) to include desktop management, file management and operations, and working in a network environment.

PRODUCTS/OUTCOMES


Analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain complex computer software systems that contain business logic and database access.


Analyze software requirements related to new functionality needed by users to identify required changes and enhancements to software applications.


Test computer programs under all supported operating environments and browsers to produce error free programs that adhere to established programming and UI standards.


Meet established timelines in implementing program enhancements and modifications.


Read and understand state and federal mandates to ensure required changes to software have been identified.


Provide technical assistance and support to Product Support Specialists to resolve user problems.


Demonstrate software applications and instruct product support teams on proper software use.


Write technical specifications and provide detailed information for the product support team and the documentation team for use in documentation and training materials.


Provide information as requested for special programming and technical services requests.


Work in an Agile/Scrum team environment with developers, analysts, documentation staff, and support specialists to meet project objectives and resolve problems.
