Dough Pizzeria Napoletana Downtown is hiring a Restaurant Manager, who has a minimum of 3 years of full service restaurant management. Please do not apply unless you have a minimum of 3 years working as a Manager in a full service restaurant environment and are comfortable with wine service.
Responsibilities:
Customer relations-you must be comfortable going table to table talking with guests
Staff development: including hiring, training, performance management, proper documentation, coaching, and scheduling
Floor supervision & expediting-assist both FOH and BOH staff and other Managers as needed with all tasks-bussing, food running, serving, prepping, expediting, etc.
Ensure proper cash handling and financial reconciliation
Keeping labor cost in line with budget
Maintenance of all operational standards
Budgeting and inventory of wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and essential supplies
Support business controls and budget
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management in a full service restaurant
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, scheduling applications and industry related POS programs
Excellent communication skills: which include oral, written and active listening
Work a 5 day work week with a varied schedule including nights and weekends
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time; lift 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to open bottles of wine
Ability to carry plates, glassware, silverware, etc.
