Twinkle Healthcare Services, LLC is looking for an RN with recent supervisory home health experience.
We are a pediatric home health agency based in the San Antonio area, looking to make a difference in the lives of children in our community.
DUTIES
Act as Administrator in the absence of the Administrator and directs and coordinates all administrative and financial activities of the professional home health Agency
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services
2. Complies with applicable laws and regulations
3. Undertakes fiscal planning, budgeting and management of operations in accordance with established fiscal parameters
4. Implements governing body directives and ensures that appropriate service policies are developed and implemented
5. Recruits, employs and retains qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels
6. Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication
7. Ensures staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education and evaluation of staff
8. Directs and monitors organizational performance improvement activities
9. Assures that skilled nursing and other therapeutic services furnished are under the supervision and direction of a physician or a registered nurse
10. Assures appropriate staff supervision during all operating hours
11. Assures the development and qualifications for professional services and the assignment of personnel
JOB CONDITIONS
Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
It requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts.
It is primarily a desk job which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication.
An alternate administrator designated as an alternate administrator for the first time on or after December 1, 2006, must meet the initial educational training requirements specified in Texas Administrative Code §97.259 (relating to Initial Educational Training in Administration of Agencies)
An alternate administrator designated as an alternate administrator before December 1, 2006, must meet the continuing education requirements specified in Texas Administrative Code §97.260 (relating to Continuing Education in Administration of Agencies).
The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing is required.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION
The ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other related office equipment is required.
COMPANY INFORMATION
Has access to all client medical records and client financial accounts, personnel records and Agency financial records, which may be discussed with all management staff, including the Governing Body
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must be a registered nurse or licensed nursing home administrator with at least one year of management or supervisory experience in a health-related setting, such as:
a. A home and community support services agency;
b. A hospital;
c. A nursing facility;
d. A hospice;
e. An outpatient rehabilitation center;
f. A psychiatric facility;
g. An intermediate care facility for persons with mental retardation or related conditions; or
h. A licensed health care delivery setting providing services for individuals with functional disabilities.
i. And have two yearsâ experience.
