We are a modern, established, tight-knit specialty Periodontics, Oral Plastic Surgery, and Dental Implant Aesthetics practice that puts patients first. We are looking for a like-minded, dynamic, outgoing, motivated and enthusiastic treatment coordinator to join our Team! We provide Care Without Compromise and welcome Team members who support each other to ensure success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain a very high level of customer service and patient care.

Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily explain, present, and educate patients on periodontal and dental implant procedures and treatment plans. (Our procedures include: scaling and root planing, osseous surgery, soft tissue grafting, esthetic crown lengthening, dental implants and associated bone grafting procedures).

Greet patients and set up appointments.

Call patients for appointment reminders and broken appointments.

Must have knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs.

Must be able to verify all insurances and send pre-authorizations.

Must have knowledge of ADA dental codes and ability to bill insurances and patients.

Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates on patient treatment.

Process payments including cash, credit, Care Credit.

Ability to audit chart notes and create claims.

Assist with open and close of the office.

Ability to communicate clearly and positively with Team and the Doctor - This is KEY!

Qualifications:

3+ years of dental experience is preferred

Must be bilingual in Spanish/English
