Pecos Fence is San Antonio's Reader's Choice for Fence Contractor of the Year. We provide fencing service for high security (government), commercial and residential construction. Pecos Fence is currently seeking a welder for custom welding and ornamental welding work. If chosen, you will work with our primary welder in the gate shop. Opportunity to learn to weld one-of-a-kind custom projects. This is not a production welding position, it is a creative welding position. We currently employ several welders who can provide training to the right candidate.
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications:
Ability to Learn Quickly
Ability to read maps or plans or blueprints
Ability to ask critical questions as needed
Lifting up to 100 lbs. above knees.
Lifting 30 lbs. above head.
Working in awkward positions on knees or bent at the knees for several hours.
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
