Senior Maintenance Technician
Position Overview:
The Senior Maintenance Technician is a critical member of the plant operations team, responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all manufacturing equipment and systems. This role demands advanced mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to support continuous production and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in equipment diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance, and will mentor junior maintenance team members.
What You’ll Do:
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems across a variety of manufacturing equipment.
Lead and execute scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support process improvements and resolve equipment-related issues.
Install, modify, and commission new equipment and systems as needed.
Interpret complex schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory usage.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Provide guidance and training to other maintenance technicians and act as a technical resource.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support emergency maintenance and on-call duties as required.
MONDAY TO FRIDAY (SOME SATURDAYS)
6:30 AM TO 5:00 PM (COULD BE LATER, DEPENDING ON THE DAY)
$29.00 TO $33.00 AN HOUR (DOE)
