Communications Partner

Location Remote

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Shift: M-F 8 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities would include the following:

  • Developing communications plans and materials for executive leadership and initiatives that impact contact center employees
  • Partnering with change advisors and communications peers to review and respond to communications requests, following our front door intake process
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and business owners to schedule and release communications, using P&C's communications channels and following governance processes for approvals, publication, and archiving
  • Drafting and editing communications materials, including email messaging, presentations, internal news articles, videos, animations, and technical references

Must Have:
  • Communication planning - 4 years
  • Writing - 4 years
  • Design - presentations, graphics, email templates
  • MS Office (Outlook, word, PowerPoint)
  • Adobe creative suite (illustrator, Premiere) - have templates that have colors and fonts, banners and ads that are preconfigured. Premiere for video editing, used to use Final cut pro but no longer have macs. Use powerpoint for animation, trouble with powerpoint - while you can create graphic, doesn't always export size wise to the newletter
  • SharePoint or other content management system)

Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Experience managing and creating communications for contact center audiences
  • Experience with the insurance industry, particularly Claims
  • Expert writing and editing skills
  • Prefer candidates with technical writing experience
  • Prefer candidates with video editing and animation experience (using Adobe Creative Suite or PowerPoint)
  • Some proficiency with SharePoint content management

NOTE: This is primarily a production/execution role, not a strategic communications role.
