Hours: Must be flexible to work any shift
Food Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Performs skilled repair services of mechanical and electrical equipment u
Replace worn parts as needed (belts, blades, etc.)
Clear all machine jams & effectively restart equipment
Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair
Perform preventive maintenance tasks
Perform sanitation responsibilities on equipment necessary to provide an allergen free set-up and changeover
Perform machine changeovers and set-up
Adjust equipment accordingly to achieve a high level of performance
Use a computerized operator interface to make critical machine adjustments
Perform all required work instructions including but not limited to: allergen free inspection, weight control, packaging material verifications
Comply with all program requirements including HACCP and GMPs.
Food Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Technician Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 2-4 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience (warehouse automation / Allen Bradley PLC experience is a plus)
Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
Management and analysis of production data experience is a plus
Problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
Prior food or similar industry experience is a plus
Ability to work independently or with a team
Basic mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to read, write and speak English, Spanish is a plus
Ability to work in a high paced, deadline-oriented environment
Available to work a flexible work schedule
