ROOFING SUPERINTENDENT
Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal is seeking the employment of a qualified and professional Roofing Superintendent to work out of our San Antonio office located at 11549 Old Perrin Beitel Rd

Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal is a Texas based commercial & residential roofing and sheet metal company that was established in 1970 and is locally owned. Our business is a mix of Residential and Commercial roofing and our coverage area is primarily Central Texas but we perform jobs throughout the state of Texas.
We install all types of residential and commercial roof systems. We are a Master-Elite residential contractor with GAF and have become well known for our standing seam metal roofing systems as well. Our commercial work primarily consists of Single Ply roof systems such as TPO & PVC. We have a full scale sheet metal shop with complete fabrication capabilities and two New-Tech roll forming machines.
Job Purpose: To supervise the completion of residential and commercial roofing projects at multiple locations by providing the necessary prior planning, safety, quality control, and supervision of sub-contractors to complete projects in a safe and professional manner.
Job Duties:
Work closely with General Manager (GM)
Supervise and manage all field staff; Hiring new subs.
Daily job-site monitoring and quality control insuring adherence to manufactures installation guidelines.
Work with GM in scheduling and coordinating of all work.
Materials runs as needed
Enforcement of company safety policy/rules.
Proactively seek to eliminate all safety risks and improve quality control measures.
Train field staff / sub-contractors
Perform final inspections of all work with on-site Foreman.
Coordinate manufacturer's inspections.
Keep up to date job progress data. Maintain job records in company database software.
Other duties in line with the role of a roofing project superintendent.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the roofing industry at Foreman level or beyond.
Experience with a wide variety of roofing systems and manufacturers.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
Basic computer skills to work with Microsoft Office programs and CRM software.
Leadership capabilities; Must be self motivated and company minded; Detail oriented.
