Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Must be able to completely and accurately research boundary and utility information (surface and underground);
Must be able to create quality topographic, boundary, municipal utilities, roadway, construction and easement survey maps and exhibits for review by RPLS;
Must be able to coordinate field crew schedules and duties;
Provide quality control on all field crew data;
Must be able to use and maintain Electronic Project File Management
RequirementsEducation and Experience: Minimum requirements
Three(3) to Five(5) years of work experience drafting in land survey industry.
Three(3) to Five(5) years of experience with all aspects of land surveying and drafting or maps and exhibits, including but not limited to, research, deeds, abstracts, routes, topographic, contours, construction staking, land titles, ALTAs and engineering design.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Required Skills:
Must have one(1) to three(3) years of Autodesk Civil 3D and / or MicroStation experience.
Must possess one(1) to three(3) years experience with Trimble GPS equipment, data collectors and software.
Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must be an active participant of the land surveying team.
Ability to handle multiple, demanding, and complex projects in a timely manner with accurate results.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess a valid driver's license and and clean driving record.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
