Seeking a Civil CAD Designer for a company in San Marcos TX. This position is contract to hire, Monday through Friday 8-5. Pay is based upon experience, $20-24 per hour.
Responsibilities:
The civil engineering AutoCAD Technician will be responsible for efficiently producing civil engineering design plans including; paving, drainage, grading, water, wastewater, signage and marking plans for site development and plan-profile drawings for public infrastructure improvements in AutoCAD (Civil 3D a plus) format per project manager/civil engineer's direction.
Additional tasks may include the preparation of drainage calculations, cut and fill calculations, survey "clean-up,Âproject coordination and attendance at meetings with clients and/or other consultants, site inspections, utility/record drawing research and permit processing through local government agencies as required.ÂÂ
