Looking for an entry level engineer. CAN STILL BE IN COLLEGE (Junior or senior having taken statics)

Flexibility - This is a "part-time" job for 20 hours a week but will quickly become full time if you wish it. I am flexible around school hours, home hours, etc. The applicant can work weekdays, nights, or weekends. I am infinitely flexible when it comes to hours.

I consult for some of the largest construction projects in the world focused on Seismic bracing. I am looking for an engineering assistant to help with basic calculations for anchorages and demand loads.

Our Engineering Services:

Support/bracing material supply and design for both new and retrofit projects. Project types include Commercial, Industrial, Bio-Tech, Healthcare, Wastewater, Transportation, Large Sports Arenas, and Educational Facilities.

At Force Support Services you will learn and master:

Self Perform Seismic and wind force calculations (non-buildings)

Design piping and duct support systems per code requirements and industry standards

Be able to provide technical support for innovative mechanical products

Complete equipment vibration isolation designs

Design steel frames and manage fabrication logistics

Complete concrete anchor attachment design

Thermal pipe stress analysis to determine anchor, guide and flex locations

Do accurate CAD detailing

Be a project management whiz thorough estimates, tracking budgets, complete specification reviews with a careful eye for details, review contract documentation and gather all pertinent information, promptly respond to customer questions via phone, email or text, do necessary job walks to troubleshoot any issues, carefully track material orders as well as delivery logistics and generate product date submittals.

You will be effective if you:

Have/Working on -- a B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering

Thoroughly enjoy puzzles and problem solving
