Bartenders, Bar Backs, Waitresses, Kitchen Staff, and Door Security
Pale Horse Drinkery and Sky bar is seeking enthusiastic, well versed bar staff, wait staff, kitchen staff, and door security. All candidates must have a passion for craft cocktails, fine wine, and exquisite food. Pale Horse is primarily a lounge with a state of the art kitchen. Pale Horse will be serving 10 -15 appetizers, 2-5 deserts, 10 â 15 craft cocktails, and approximately 60 fine wines.

Summary of Positions:
*All staff must be 21 and over, have a current TABC license, and food handlers card.
Bartenders:
⢠Must have a minimum of 2 years high volume bartending experience
⢠Knowledge of/or a passion to learn craft cocktails and fine wine
Waitresses:
⢠Must have 1 year high volume cocktail or waitress experience
⢠Must have extensive craft cocktail and wine knowledge, or the desire to learn
⢠Bottle service knowledge is a plus
Bar Backs:
⢠Must have 1 year bar back experience
Door Security
⢠Must have experience in checking IDâs
⢠Security background is a plus
Kitchen Staff:
⢠Must have 2 years experience in food prep and cooking
⢠Must be knowledgeable in food plating and proper food temperatures
⢠Must have knowledge of how to store food products in compliance with safety practices
⢠Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
⢠Kitchen staff is responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment, floors, mats, walls, hoods, and other equipment and food storage areas.
⢠Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
Deliver quality food on time. Ultimately ensure that all plates are properly cooked, served, and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.
What to expect:
Please only submit your application if you meet all the requirements. All staff must be available holidays and weekends. All new hires will be responsible to learn the entire menu. There will be a comprehensive test at the end of the training period. The training period will be approximately 4 to 7 days. Bartenders, bar backs, and door personal will be required to wear all black semi formal attire. Waitresses will be required to wear a black cocktail dress, apron, and fine dining style belt and shoes. Pale Horse is going to be an amazing place to work! The food and cocktail portion of the exams should be fairly easy for anyone with experience. The wine list is quite extensive and we will be providing fun and exciting training.
