We are seeking to hire a proactive and experienced Property Manager and Personal Assistant for a busy family with businesses and homes in both New Braunfels, Texas and New York City. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter based in New Braunfels, but will also have the ability to travel to NY and work remotely on projects. This role is a full-time salaried position.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing the operation and maintenance of the familys homes including sourcing, hiring and managing vendors and contractors.
Overseeing the operation and maintenance of two local event spaces in New Braunfels and the remodel of one of the spaces.
Working with the Pilot to coordinate private travel and manage private aircraft.
Project management for complicated home remodels, repairs, insurance claims, to include 24/7 emergency response
Family assistance for children, seniors, and pets
Work with extensive philanthropy efforts
Creating and maintaining calendars for the home and event spaces.
Proactively spotting issues in the homes and event spaces and attending to them on the owners behalf
Research purchases, vacations and other items
Hiring, training and supervising staff including maintenance and other household staff
Bookkeeping + overseeing outsourced bookkeeper
Maintaining household security
Errands and other projects
Requirements:
Maintaining high degree of confidentiality and handling private information with utmost discretion
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects with consistency
Experience working in private homes and managing vendors
Ability to manage small construction projects on time and on budget
Experience in event planning
Proactive, confident personality; ability to act as a representative on the familys behalf
Strong Communication Skills and detail oriented
Flexible and the ability to thrive in busy environments with multiple projects
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
Ability to travel with the family as needed
