Oak Wilt Specialists of Texas has an immediate opening for a Sales Assistant/Trainee in Wimberley, TX.
You should be motivated, excel at customer interaction, have a good eye for details and appreciate outdoor work. This position involves a fair amount of driving, so you need an excellent driving record. Join a growing company doing important work saving our oak trees!
You will be working with our experienced consulting arborists. This work involves driving to customer sites throughout central Texas. Once there you will be identifying diseased trees and working with clients to design customized treatment plans. This is consultative sales work. Each project is different. The successful candidate will be able to express themselves clearly and confidently. There is much to learn and we will educate you on our sales methods and oak wilt remediation services.
After establishing a high degree of competency, there is the opportunity to advance from an assistant to a consulting arborist. To further your career, we will help you obtain an ISA arborist certification.
The starting pay for this position is $18.00/hr. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for benefits including financial assistance for health insurance, paid holidays and paid personal leave. Contact us for details.
