Commercial Carpenters, Helpers and Labors

These are just a hand full of some of the projects we have been part of the past year. 2019 is already busier than in 2018.

We are currently accepting applications for Carpenter Framers and Helpers, job duties include, but not limited to:
Reads, interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints,
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob and level.
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw.
Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, and power tools.
Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, or hardware, using carpenter's hand and power tools.
Select and order lumber and other required materials.
Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings, using paint, hand tools, and paneling.
Inspect ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures.
Work with and/or remove hazardous material.
Cover subfloors with building paper to keep out moisture and lay hardwood, parquet, and wood-strip-block floors by nailing floors to subfloor or cementing them to mastic or asphalt base.
Apply shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, and decorative paneling to ceilings and walls.
The job duties of a general laborer vary. They may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment. Laborers set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures. They help carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors.
Requirements:
General construction laborers must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Laborers must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential. Some tools and machines are computerized, requiring technical knowledge and the ability to communicate well with others.
We are looking to grow our team and get qualified candidates started immediately. Must be able to pass a drug screen, Clean background is required for some of the jobsites that we are on, but not all. If you are lazy, cannot make it to work every day need not apply. If you are applying for General Labor with no goals of learning a trade please do not apply.
