Liberty Software is a healthcare technology company that develops software for retail pharmacies across the country. Our pharmacy management platform helps our clients increase profits, improve customer service, and enhance patient safety. We are seeking a knowledgeable professional with high performance Apple app development experience and a heart for service to join us as iOS App Developer. The iOS App Developer will work on projects to implement new features and enhancements to our software focusing on the mobile apps. We have a small and mighty team dedicated to continuous improvement of our products, and this individual will join them in developing innovative solutions and building new features. Liberty Software takes great pride in its client relations and support and expects all team members, including its developers, to not only to have the necessary technical skills, but great interpersonal and communication skills as well. Primary Responsibilities:
Delivers across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to the App Store and support
Design, develop, and implement solutions within the Liberty Software technology stack
Collaborate product team stakeholders in the recommendation of enhancements to improve user experience, compelling design and brand consistency
Remain knowledgeable of trends around customer needs, motivations, and behaviors and apply them to design system decisions
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues at the code and UI layers
Participate with internal departments in requirements gathering, analysis, and specification, providing technical expertise and recommendations
Work closely with Development team to ensure compatibility and quality of app suite
Participates in the full software development cycle including coding, testing, implementation, support and sunset
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrable knowledge of iOS development, highly proficient in Swift, Xcode, and Objective-C.
Detailed knowledge of iOS technologies including networking, data, and UI frameworks.
Excellent understanding of iOS User Interface implementation guidelines and techniques
Experience with version control and build management tools
Android development experience a plus.
Ability to gather, analyze and translate user requirements into functioning software
Ability to perform testing of applications, facilitate testing by others, and document results
