Construction Company looking for an ambitious applicant for an Entry Level MEP CAD/BIM Operator. We design commercial buildings with plans for Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, Electrical & Mechanical disciplines. Full Time Applicants Only. Potential for on the job training
Responsibilities:
Proficient in AutoCAD & or AutoCAD MEP.
Knowledge of Building Materials, Construction Methodologies.
Strong Construction math skills & attention to detail.
Available to work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
Can produce a clean set of drawings to achieve Bid & Production level packages throughout the Design Process.
Review E-mails and Coordinate with In House Personnel which includes Estimating & Project Managers.
Must speak & write fluent English.
Preferences:
Work experience with AutoCAD MEP and will possess the ability to create object styles and property sets.
Can review Plans, and keep to in-house standards.
Working knowledge of Excel (ability to create and manipulate formulas).
Working knowledge of Revit MEP or Revit Architecture (ability to create custom families & groups)
Any knowledge / Experience in 3D Modeling & or BIM is a plus.
Design experience or a well-rounded education in science is a huge plus.
Willing to work hard, learn on the job & possesses a will do attitude
