We are seeking a Retail Manager to join our family! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail meat sales floor.
Responsibilities:
⢠Control and plan inventory
⢠Take orders for customers and follow to completion
⢠Source food products for sale and design assortment and modular
⢠Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
⢠Resolve customer complaints with honesty and integrity
⢠Ensure sales floor is always clean, neat, stocked and ready for sales
⢠Provide and comfortable customer experience for all
Qualifications:
⢠Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
⢠Ability to connect with customers on a one-on-one level
⢠Excellent written, computer and communication skills - use of POS system and custom ordering software
⢠Ability to lift 35 lbs from high and low
⢠Interest in local food and, specifically craft butchering and sausages
Note: This job requires learning cuts of meat and watching how the butchers cut up meat for educational purposes.
