Local mining company is searching for a dedicated and hard-working leader who resides in Grayson County to join our team. This position includes management of a crew of employees to conduct daily sand pit operations and sand sales in Denison, Texas.
Responsibilities include:
Lead pit crew with an emphasis on sand sales, competitive pricing, customer service and quality production.
Meet with area general contractors to maintain ongoing relationships and look for opportunities to grow sales
Oversee sand pit operations and help maintain construction equipment such as excavators and wheel loaders
Establish annual sales goals and plan future sand pit strategy
High school degree required. Experience in construction, trucking or operating small construction equipment is a plus. Regular hours are Monday through Friday 8a.m.- 5p.m., and on-call weekends and after hours for emergencies and immediate responses as needed. Driving and criminal record checks are part of our hiring process as well as pre-employment drug screening.
Compensation is TBD based upon your fit for the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year, plus performance-based bonus.
