Job Summary
Position responsible for providing proficient perioperative patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation. Position functions as a scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and/or invasive procedures. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory; uses knowledge/expertise to act as a role model and resource for other staff.

Certified Surgical Technologist, Days
Part time; Monday/ Wednesdays 6:30am-7pm and Thursday 9am-5pm
Call requirements: approximately 32 hours in a 6 week schedule with 12 of those hours being on a Saturday or Sunday
CST and BLS required
2+ years of General Surgery experience required
Hospital OR experience preferred
This position is located at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic Life Support current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
