Berkeley Eye Center continues to see growth as we add an office in Bay City, Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced doctor's assistant with a vision care background to assist with preliminary exam workups and scribing responsibilities.
Ideal Candidates will have 3+ years of Vision Care experience involving back office patient exams and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records. We value people who are kind, flexible, dependable and honest.
This position will be based in Bay City, Texas but employee will start working in El Campo for a limited period of time to develop skill set.
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Wednesday: 8:30am – 5pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 1pm, 2pm – 7pm
Friday: 8 am – 1 pm
Skills Desired:
Skill Set should include most of the following:
Manual Refractions
Ability to read glasses on manual lensometer,
Tonometry,
Visual Fields,
OCT,
A-Scan,
Topography,
Computer Skills (experience on Electronic Medical Records a plus but will train OA with proper patient work-up skills)
