Including Surgical Services, program development, contract negotiation/managed services.Vendor Services to include:Bio-Med, Facilites, Security, Real EstateWhat You Will Do As the Director of Strategic Operations you will oversee Lab, Cardiac, Rehab, Secruity, Facilities, Bio-Med. This position will be advocating for the organization with Vendor Services.Ascension Providence is located in West Waco. The campus includes a 237-bed, acute-care hospital; an Ambulatory Services Building for outpatient procedures and the MRI Center at Providence; Ascension Providence Medical Plaza, a professional office building; and Ascension Providence Clinic-Family Medicine Center, a primary care facility. Ascension Providence is located near the intersection of Highway 84 and Highway 6 in Waco at 6901 Medical Parkway.As an Associate with Providence Healthcare Netwk-TX, you will have the opportunity to direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies related to the organization's business operations.Responsibilities:
Organizes operations to provide high quality cost effective services.
Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide staff in delivering services that meet all productivity plans. Implements plans to reduce departmental turnover while maintaining high employee and patient satisfaction.
Coordinates and integrates services to achieve the strategic plan. Conducts ongoing assessments and maintains quality control practices that improve departmental operations.
Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
What You Will Need Education:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree strongly preferred
Work Experience:
5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred.
2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Stongly Preferred Managment Experience in a Healthcare Setting
