Souper Salad Waco is looking for Dishwashers to staff our morning and afternoon shifts. The ideal candidate believes in showing up on time for work, providing other employees with assistance in the kitchen as needed and following all sanitary and health-related protocols. We're offering a consistent schedule and excellent pay for a dedicated employee.
Dishwasher responsibilities:
a. Operate the industrial dishwasher
b. When necessary, wash dishes, pots and pans by hand
c. Empty and clean all trash receptacles
d. Cut, wash and spin lettuce for salad bar - Iceberg and Romaine in the necessary amounts told by supervisor.
e. Clean iced tea and coffee machines daily
f. Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
g. Clean dish storage
h. Sweep and mop storage room and walk in cooler
i. Sweep outside hall
j. Make salad dressings - follow recipe
k. Sweep and mop lobby area
l. Put away dry goods truck and produce truck deliveries as they come in. Follow FIFO rules when accommodating goods.
m. Follow sanitation policies at all times
n. Perform opening, closing and side work
o. Clean up spills immediately
p. Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party
q. Perform other duties as indicated by supervisor
Dishwasher qualifications and skills
a. No experience necessary. We are willing to train
b. High School diploma or GED preferred
c. Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
d. Ability to operate industrial machinery and carry up to loads of 70 lbs.
e. Willingness to work in hot, humid environment and on your feet for 8-hour shifts.
