RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client in Westlake, TX is looking for a Mid-Tier Java/API Cloud Developer to work in the Enterprise Technology Group in WLK/MMK/NC.
Summary:
The IT Solutions Modernization team is looking for a highly motivated problem solver that can navigate ambiguity to build software focused on building automation and tooling. The candidate must have a collaborative mindset to be able to work well with fellow developers, system analysts, and QA engineers across a distributed team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years of software engineering development experience, preferably JavaScript, NodeJS, Typescript, Golang, Python, C#, Java, or similar languages
Experience developing API's
Experience with Automation Tools/Frameworks
Experience in the creation of Automated Deployment Pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory)
Exposure to the ServiceNow Platform and Angular preferred
Detailed understanding of the Agile software development process
Proven hands-on experience working with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Git, REST, Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps
Hands-on experience with the API Design & Development
Familiarity with the SRE principles and concepts
Proven experience with the Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodology, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD)
An Innovative Mentality
Ability to identify and communicate issues clearly and concisely
Willingness to take ownership of deliverables
